Fired Art Jewellery Workshops Ltd® has been created by Jewellery Designer Anita Trestrail of Lomo Designs. The Studio Workshop is located at Mount Pleasant Christchurch, a wonderful location with spectacular views.
My Jewellery is created using a mixed medium of Fused Glass, Sterling Silver, Copper, Brass, Enamel, PMC and more.. Please check out the Gallery for a selection of my work, all previously sold. New Items are added frequently.
I would now like to share my skills and passion with you, by offering workshops/classes using PMC (Precious Metal Clay).
What is PMC ?(in brief)
PMC consists of microscopic particles of silver or gold, suspended in an organic binder to create a pliable material with a consistency similar to modeling clay. When heated to a high temperature, the binder burns away and the metal particles fuse to form solid metal that can be sanded, soldered, coloured and polished like conventional material. This can then be hallmarked as .999 silver or gold.
These workshops cater for the beginner through to more advanced techniques.
Whether a short course or a full day, each student will take away a unique piece of hand crafted jewellery.
